Good find. Ironically, I Hated ZipCar (in NYC). It was really awful, for many reasons I don't care to articulate here. I would much rather own a car, then have to deal with ZipCar.

In 2009 I was running IT for a medium-sized digital agency. I contacted both Box and Dropbox to inquire about paying them a bunch of money if they could give us some more features such oauth/saml auth, and better logging/auditing

Thing is, their product has been inferior for years! You wouldn't believe how bad it used to be. The current state of rackspace cloud is great, compared to how it was in 2010.

In hardware, I know NRE as non reoccurring expense. Manufacturing companies charge setup fees for programming assembly machines, ordering silk screens, tooling, etc.

He's not talking specifically about ZFS, he's talking generally about non-GPL licensed modules and the kernel.

How is this possible, legally? Based on my basic understanding of the ZFS license, it's not possible to legally distribute ZFS and GPL code (linux kernel) together.

`echo 'alias ipython=jupyter' >> ~/.bash_profile` Since I seriously doubt I'll ever remember the name "Jupyter". According to PG, they should change their name- because jupyter.com is already taken.

OS X does not have NUMA. It has some nice libraries for multi-threading, but that doesn't really matter that much when you're saturating your memory bus because the CPUs are doing too many cross-zone memory requests.

When I read reports of massive Yosemite bugs, I think that I am ether lucky, or I'm just a really bad QA tester. I've personally had very few problems on my 3 different Apple computers.
