I tell everyone I can about bitwarden. I see many colleagues using Dashlane or even LastPass but bitwarden just takes the cake for me. It does a great job at staying out of the way and reliably doing whatever it is I need it to do and I can

To be clear I’m talking about the ecosystem of front end frameworks ala React, Vue, Angular not the Js ecosystem as a whole. That being said I’m not sure what trouble you’re running into but I highly recommend using chocolatey as a native p

Perhaps I misunderstood the original comment, seemed like they meant implementing identical APIs to jQuery, I thought they meant simply writing an abstraction in JS (I.e. not a native impl). That’s my bad

The whole “so many Js frameworks!” thing is ridiculous. The same dominant frameworks have been popular for _years_ now, and while new frameworks do pop up people mostly use these same dominant frameworks, and these dominant frameworks are i

Could we avoid misusing the term straw man argument? That seemed like a good faith hypothetical question that could help further illuminate your own position, not some false posturing of your ideas.

All I’m saying is that it’s appalling to see all of these “solutions” almost completely ignore the root problem and instead become obsessed with “border security”. Our borders are secure, immigration is not a threat to your life, the proble

I wouldn’t go that far, but when vote count is the primary means end users rely on to determine whether or not someone is “correct” then yeah, it can be problematic. I feel the same way about SO, but I wouldn’t extend this criticism to redd

What a ridiculous assertion, it’s impossible to learn fundamentals in 9 months?? 2000 hours is a LONG time to do something, you will certainly have a grasp of the fundamentals after 2000 hours. Will you be a master? No, but did you stop lea
