There is also https://www.gitpod.io/ I like the current WebIDE. It has two features which are important to me: - Lauch it with the . hotkey, from the file or merge request you currently browse - multi cursor with CMD+D on a

I know what you mean. I use fd and rg on my machine, but for scripts, Dockerfiles etc I tend to use find and grep, just because this is the „lingua franca“ of Unix/Linux.

Your calculation assumes that all working hours create equal value. I can say for me that on most jobs I had, I got like 80% done in the first 4 hours and 20% in the other half of the day. I regularly stop working when I can’t concentrate a

But if this is about perceived randomness shouldn’t people also guess which sequence was created by a human vs sequences created by some algorithm? I understand that to score randomness you probably would create n-grams of the characters an

Hey, a few years ago, but after the 1.0 release, even the Kubernetes docs mentioned to turn SELinux off. It’s just that SELinux documentation (something like a cookbook) is (or was) very hard to find on the internet.

Just buy or build a different table. Don’t ask for permission, just fix the stuff so that it works for you and maybe your small team and then announce it. There is no documentation and no planning? Just start writing documentation, just sta

A faraday cage or faraday pouch blocks electric radio. For example a cellphone will not be able to communicate with the base station if you wrap it aluminium foil and the new car fobs work similar. The fob just needs to be in close distance

Also each RUN, COPY, ADD, etc. creates a new layer in the image so you should put commands which are related in the same command. The example in the blog post violates this principle, which is the main reason for the unexpected size.

I think this only helps against relay attacks. To use the key to open the door the owner probably has to take the fob out of the pouch and then replay attacks might be possible.

I’m not really sure if this was understandable, but I’m basically in the same camp as you are. It’s next to impossible to have 100% bug free code. Automatic testing helps and TDD helps to write tests, but it’s not the goal. The goal is to c

Yes, being able to replicate the issue in a small piece of code is a very good thing. First it helps to triage whether the bug is in your own code or in other code. You also then can use it like the author and find the commit which introduc

Exactly what I use gron for and my feature request would be to be able to do this from jless with one key. Currently it seems like jless doesn't even allow to select and copy it (on MacOS' terminal app).
