I think ( found a small bug in the font/encoding. The text in the menu didn't display the ß in "Füße" (German), but the pirate said it right. The same goes for the ö in "hören".

Yes, a method is usually much easier to test, if the method gets the current date passed as an argument. The same goes for methods calculating on random values. Passing these to the method enables testing.

For me it is about documentation. While Bootstrap was documented thoroughly (with the one exception of not having a transition guide for the changed grid system between 2.x and 3.0), I felt that this wasn't the point for Foundation. E.

I upgraded this morning. Estimates where way off. (Thanks for the CMD+L hint!) After a few hours, the Mac just reinstalled everything again. Waiting again for hours with "1 Minute" point. Worst upgrade experience with OSX ever.

It's free to play, you don't owe anyone anything. If you get emails and don't feel like answering, just ignore them. If you get praise, print it out so you can look at it whenever you feel down.

If you want the community to be involved with your code you should use what the community use. For a lot of languages today this is git and GitHub.

My issue with Google Alerts is they seem to only send me a few hits once in a while and when I actually search for my keyword phrase (which is long and has unicode chars in it), I find more and newer exact hits.

My dad's Stasi files stated that he read a certain church related newspaper in public. There also were photographs of me at a very young age in the files. I guess they found them when they were routinely opened up personal letters. I

You could also upload the Gemfile / Gemfile.lock to a service like versioneye [1] which will then tell you which gems are outdated and what the current versions are. [1] https://www.versioneye.com/
