It doesn't matter if a legal contract was signed. As long as you undertook this venture with the agreement (verbal) that each person owns a part of the business, than it's the same as forming a legal partnership. Though, it wouldn't be usef

I tried it, it's ok. It needs message previews and keyboard navigation (they're going to add keyboard shortcuts soon). The integrated to-do/calendar is a great feature, I just wish gmail had it. Getting emails is also a bit slower than in g

Looking at this thread, I think it would be very useful to link comments on news.yc to disqus (so they show up on the blog post). I'm sure the disqus guys can do that.

Just have a timer that changes the ad every 30 seconds (or whatever time frame you want). Coding wise, should be pretty trivial.

You're right. I just assumed that if it wasn't a girl, I would be corrected. But you're right, I should err on the side of caution.

If she was good friends with the developer then I would agree with you, but from what I could tell from her post, the developer is not a friend but someone she probably met and hired online. In that case, I would definitely say no to moving

I would also say "no" for similar reasons. Your project is not his first priority and I doubt that will change once he moves into your apartment. I think that having cofounders living together is great if you guys are a couple or have been

Doesn't it seem like there are no people that are ambitious or passionate enough to believe (and do) something "big"? At least in my age group (20 year olds).

I like the demos. I can see lots of fraternities and sororities using it. Is there any plan to do marketing/pr? Is there also a paid version (to use your own domain)?

Was I voted down, simply because someone doesn't like IE or Microsoft? I was pointing out a feature of IE 8 that directly competes with his website.

I don't like the one-page style, pages can't be linked to. It's also bad for SEO. It also causes problems with the viewstate, after clicking around a bit I couldn't go back to the homepage (stuck on the login) no matter what I clicked and e
