I started building something like this at one point and called it AppBox [0], to make installing apps on the device similar to installing apps on a server. I think Docker took over this role. [0] http://appbox.rkeene.org/

This is going to be a Tcl extension named "webassembly" that then allows you to load other Tcl extensions that are compiled to WebAssembly. Right now Tcl loads binary extensions using the "load" command, this will load a

One of my next projects is to create a Tcl package for webassembly that will let other extension authors compile their packages targeting WebAssembly and be able to use those compiled binaries on any platform.

I compared them in 2010 here: https://rkeene.org/projects/info/wiki/BtrFS Overall similar. I ran into more critical bugs with BtrFS, but ZFS (on Solaris) was not perfect (most of our Solaris kernel panics we

This is one reason I created hashcache [0][1], for referencing remote immutable resources that can be addressed by their cryptographic hash. I used this in my Linux distribution to download source tarballs for every package by their SHA2-2

Exactly. Solaris implemented this as "contracts" to make its service management framework (SMF, which is similar to systemd, but came out first and is superior in many ways).

There's no need to "sudo ssh" (which has all kinds of bad implications). For an example see: http://www.rkeene.org/viewer/tmp/ssh-ip-tunnel.txt.htm

I think there are a few implicit assumptions in your post that could be examined for a better proposal. 1. Consensus of what is valid doesn't require a tradable and fungible token so adding that game element is not required for decentr
