The fact that so many people are focusing solely on massive LLM models is an oversight by people that narrowly focusing on a tiny (but very lucrative) subdomain of AI applications.

I'd argue, that while null ref and those classes of bugs may decrease, logic errors will increase. Rust is not an extraordinary readable language in my opinion, especially in the kernel where the kernel has its own data structures. IMH

Every single one of them has to fix the same set of bugs in different ways even if they share a wm library like wlroots. So unless you manage to get a critical mass on your wm, there is no way you can maintain it on your own. If I believed

It's not the size that's the issue, it's the domain that is. It's tempting to say that adding drivers to Linux is hard because Linux is big, but that's not the issue.

I'm actually a bit annoyed that uv won. I found pdm to be a really nice solution that fixed a lot of the issues poetry had without the hard ideological stance behind it, while fixing most of its problems. But maybe that ideology was pa

To call Rust syntax beautiful is a stretch. It seems that way in the beginning but then quickly devolves into a monstrosity when you start doing more complex things. Zig on the other specifically addresses syntax shortcomings in part of C.
