I'd say yes and no. TSMC has over 60000 employees. They're also probably the biggest siphon of fresh graduates in Taiwan. Like most Taiwanese companies people work like slaves(not Foxconn China level) and have fairly low salaries.

I also dislike jq, but this is a bit of a non issue IMHO. You could in theory add any kind of output transformer in theory. The codebase doesn't seem to be optimized for that yet, but it should be trivial to add.

Not sure why his comment was downvoted, but I actually think his comment is accurate. HCL is pretty limited in its primitives. In my opinion cdktf's two fundamental issues are: 1. the generated HCL contains plain text passwords if you

This isn't new. A few years ago a few countries (Germany being one of them) asked for an extension on having to implement instant transactions. Some German banks actually charge more for the instant bank transfers. This is just the EU

I actually just tried to play around with what seems to be a "modern c++" boilerplate project. It uses CMake, conan for packaging, clang-tidy and cpp-check, and has templates for fuzz and unit testing[1]. I found it because qtcrea

There are terraform providers for DNS services, Database configuration, CI services and all sorts of other things. It's actually not that hard to write a something that wraps configuration state of various APIs into a terraform module.

It just tells you how broken the understanding of value in current society really is. When someone posting videos of themselves testing lipstick or 10 dollar dresses makes more money than dozens highly trained real engineers that build phys

What's sad is that a lot of these dead weight engineers ruin the pool of qualified applicants just because they google, twitter, facebook etc. in their resume. I know it's preposterous to say stuff like that on HN which has a weir
