I've always found this type of comment interesting. It assumes that we are supposed to "be" more advanced than we actually are. Time or our date of existence doesn't mean too much in the end.

I have no idea what the web design of the type Jolla has, but it's getting old really fast. Yes, it looks neat at first, but then it's confusing. Crashplan recently did their update with the same style. I'll shut up now if I&

While not completely analogous, when I graduated with a 4 year degree, I didn't know what to do in life. Went back to grad school - then exited - still lost. Two hospital stays with a wife and young child. No job. Life sucked. If your

Here's one thing holding me back from G+: Our gmail account is one that my wife and I share. It's our family email address. Call me old-fashioned, but the profile is neither a him nor her, and it isn't one person The day they

The NFL is as large as it is because of Free TV (Network) broadcasts. While cable tv is largely thought of as ubiquitous, it's still the ONLY sport where I can watch 80-90% of local team regular season games and all of the playoffs OTA

No, it isn't a function of Apple cultivating tech ignorance. Apple, Microsoft, and Google make user decisions all the time. It's that most people don't care. They buy a tech product and go about their day. That's the po

Again, it's a distro with Ubuntu 12.04 as it's base. (I'm running it though). I might try LMDE too.

About the Android tablets - what they seem to get wrong is the aspect ratio and / or dimensions. I have a rooted Nook Tablet, and I dislike the it because both portrait and landscape are too narrow. I grab my sister's iPad and it

I get your point, but that's just semantics. You go down on the list of definitions in Webster and you could find that "power" means exactly what the Title eludes.

What will probably happen is a quick 7.1 release to fix most small alignment bugs, and then iOS 8 will refine everything. I'm guessing iOS 9 will be the polished version of this UI design. Not making excuses, just postulating what migh

I've delegated my iPhone 3GS to extra iPod Touch status. I must say it still holds it's own with speed. Some entry level android phones still can't match it's UI responsiveness. It's a great phone/device.
