I think it's entirely the result of trying to get deals with the major record companies to allow YouTube to continue to exist. In it's early days YouTube completely ignored copyright, and the music industry had all the cards when

You can often pick stuff up at a local store - e.g. certain couriers have deals with local supermarkets. It sometimes means pick ups are cheaper than the standard paid options.

Why does it need to support operating systems at all? If it's got an HDMI connector, I'd like it to support HDMI specification signals no matter how I generate them (blu-ray player, set top box, camera etc.)

The Junior Eurovision song contest has an interesting system - you must vote for 3 of the 12 entries. Voting for only 1 or 2 is not allowed. I'd be interested to see analysis of this. I don't think it's a good idea for govern

What about Paraguay? It's been running on 100% renewable electricity since the late 1980s, and it has a larger population. In fact you could say it is running on 300% renewable electricity, because it has large Hydro electric dam, expo

The Paralympic movement does something like this, and it's hard, e.g. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-57404811 . There's actually a campaign in wheelchair tennis to allow players who don't actually

No, IMHO you are doing things right. I virtually never use those commands, I've been using git for well over 10 years, and have totally got used to all it's quirks.

Just delete the bits you don't want and `git add` It helps a lot to set: git config --global merge.conflictstyle diff3 then you can see the before as well as the 2 changes you are trying to resolve.

There is no doubt that a bunch of the general commands are really poorly named, or mixed together. `git checkout branch` means switch to a branch - that's fine. But `git checkout filename` means "undo changes to the file". Wh

The tamper resistance is less important if you don't have to enter your PIN. The protocols are secured from the card to the bank - the card has a CPU on board. Tampering with the NFC reader doesn't really get you anything. Tamperi
