They might have passed some level of the kanken (kanji kentei) in school but it is unlikely to be level 1. The gap between level 1 and 2 is ridiculous.

Never using a Samsung foldable again. I bought the 4th gen of ZFold thinking it would be out of the prototype stage, and it fell apart in less than a year. The Chinese makers seem like a better bet and invest in things like silicon carbide

Assuming you're American you may be missing just how strong the USD is and how expensive $37 is for much of Europe. -You- consider it cheap and that's the whole point of the price rise.

I have a T14s and recently bought an iPad Air and was blown away by how good the speakers and display are. (I understand the iPad Pro is even better) Speaker and display is just not a priority for thinkpad it seems. Noise cancelling headpho

That conversation doesn't apply to their core products: Search, Mail, Maps, Chrome, Android. Their commitment to maintaining these services over decades has been amazing. It's everything else that sucks.

I understand the battery life sucks, but 8 hours is enough for me. That said I don't have high CPU processes running all the time. If I did I imagine the battery life difference would be more of a problem.

ThinkPad T14s is silent, keyboard is known as one of the best across all laptops even if it has got thinner. Trackpoint is there for a reason. The display I will grant you, it is not as amazing as Apple's. But I'm using my laptop

I have used Thinkpads for over a decade and I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. I can't imagine any scenario where a MacBook M chip would be required to be productive, it feels like a weird hill to die on.

They're completely different languages, Javascript is dynamically typed, not sure how useful such a comparison is. TS's type system evolved out of a desire to encode the type relations of JS functions, often native ones, which are

The idea is to make libraries preserve as much type information as possible, as a principle. Once type information is erased it can't be restored. For regular application code you don't need to use those features.

You're missing the specialisation of Object/Any. For example Array.flat called with [int, [bool, string]] returns a type [int, bool, string]. Admittedly this is somewhat niche, but most other languages can't express this - th

Meaningless platitude. All the things mentioned (visualisation, scheduling, breaking into smaller tasks, etc.) are proven to work. If you cannot do a task but you do the above things, you will eventually be able to do the task. You know wha

OP explained that. The original was stable after 6 months of patches. The Xbox Ally should in theory have that stability baked in. Everyone deserves a second chance. Not so much a third.

With 5GB sims costing £2-5/month it is well worth buying a backup sim if this matters to you. I pay for two sims in two countries and was able to use the other's roaming data when Vodafone went down.
