I'm sure I read a variation of this article every month or so. I'm sure Ive even read it on ZD before as well. But these analysts are too short sighted to remember than when Apple rolled out the iPhone it was web apps only. That was there i

I'm not sure for all countries but I registered my company recently and the default title the registering process allocates is "Managing Director". Which seems exactly the correct term. I doubt I'd bother changing my title unless I needed t

Its not the resolution thats the issue, its the actual physical size thats the problem. The iPhone 4 is 960x640, not too far behind either device pixel wise. But the 3" screen or what ever it is where the problem is. The tethering is a thin

The screen size is important. If you've tried to use the web on a nook its lucky to be an average experience, generally its actually pretty horrible as its so small. The iPad as a slightly better experience due to size alone, but even still

I built a fun little tool to do this a few years ago... probably at least 3 if not 4. I did the entire first act of Hamlet... as in I generated a string (300,000 odd characters from memory) and compared it to the proof. 9 chars at a time is

I worked for a major news agency recently and speed/page weight where two things we worked damned hard to tackle. The publishing frameworks are to blame on the most part. We spent 6 months working on caching fixes to deal with that. The sit

Yeah the whole paragraph is worded poorly. IMO it reads either one of these scenarios: 1) A library that dynamically generated JS for him instead of writing it himself. So probably some scaffolding tool. 2) Server side was returning HTML an

Well you made me realise its not solving the wallet problem, as you will still need a card as many outlets won't support the transaction type. There are plenty of other reasons to carrying a wallet, security cards for example, loyalty cards

Its dead if they don't continue to iterate, and keep people interested. I mean they have 500 engineers working on it, and what do I see? ghost town... They need API's out immediately, intact that needed it on launch, without them its dead.
