Quick nitpick. Both of the C# examples are called LINQ. The first is called the "method syntax", the latter is called the "query syntax". The query syntax is transpiled into the method syntax before compilation.

That's interesting. I've always used a fake name when conducting P2P transactions online. For instance on RedditGifts, I've always used a fake name. This backfired once when a housemate sent a very expensive chess set sent

Society is more willing to forgive youthful indiscretions than adult flights of fancy. And it takes a certain kind of youthful spryness and daring that I've got less of an ability and appetite for as I've gotten a bit older.

Lots of punks in the crust and anarcho scenes do this kind of thing. I knew a couple back in the day, and watch a former one and her husband on youtube. To be honest I wish I'd done it in my youth. It's way too risky and the leg

Honestly, a simple mileage based tax would be better. They can calibrate it to approximate the gas tax equivalent, or give a slight discount for being EV. Doesn't require any tracking or analytics or anything. Have people self-repor

I took amphetamines for a decade. Adderall. Just legalize, give people a clean and pure supply. Then the only side effects are due to the drug not all the issues around it like the low quality chemical ridden bullshit street quality bath

One of the issues is that there just isn't that many advertiser focused platforms that give the advertisers the data they need to actually do the analysis of that ROI. So they just kind of spray and pray sometimes.

There are a couple, but they've been squeezed out by those who see them as dealing with undesirable content creators. I forget the name, but one of them just got some alternate payment processor that steps around the whole credit card

That is a really good point. Rimworld has a predictable and fairly simple loop, but it's a good one, and the UI lets you easily and fully manage everything and react to situations appropriately.

I love RimWorld, and have hundreds of hours in it, but I'd say it's really more like Babby's First DF game than truly comparable to DF. It just doesn't have the depth, or capability to present a deep challenge forever.

I got one from the same company I got my bike from. I honestly can't recommend it. The parts are cheap and seem pretty off the shelf chinese-made. I expected better. If this thing dies I'll probably go with a more time-tested
