Others come in all variety and are all part of the background. The idea is to see life as a solo challenge; Don't compare yourself with others but with that version of you who is not fighting back.

I believe the only way to be content is to enjoy the fighting. Then, whatever life throw at you, it doesn't really matter. Judging our lives by a set of accomplishments feels artificial when you think about it.

I did once write to about 20 of them about another topic. First of all, this is surprisingly hard, even for someone whose expectations were already pretty low; Similarly hard as it is to contact anyone from an actual company: you have to go

I've been thinking about something like that. So the message is not stored, but if I scan it then it's in your HTTP server logs, isn't it?

Same here, using several old androids as hotspots here and there. They stopped receiving updates long ago though, so I'm not worried.

Thank you for your interest. My comment was really about the state of documentation ("there is no manpage, no doc at all, and no `clickhouse-server -h`"). More specifically: % dpkg -S clickhouse-server | grep bin clickhouse-

I believe by "true things" what is meant is "as good as a real world experience as one can get", rather than "logically sound". It is certainly reasonable to argue about whether logic stands on its own without

The origin of the whole idea, I believe, was to have _prepared_ statements, ie not to have to pay the price of parsing the query and determining the query plan. Yes I know all this sounds like "premature optimization" in this day

Wanted to try it. Debian package is of poor quality: not even sure if clickhouse local is included in there, I believe so but there is no manpage, no doc at all, and no `clickhouse-server -h`. Went to the official page looking for a tarball

There is another way formal methods parallel documentation: both are futile unless you can prove that the modelized/documented system matches the actual, live one. "This is just a matter of discipline" is not very convincing,
