Isn't there should be Show HN in the title?

To be specific, what was the bug and what was your workaround?

What if Chrome had other bug that you can't work around? Users just would have to update it. It is that simple.

This is the way. I've remapped ctrl/win/alt to win/alt/ctrl and esc to capslock.

When I switched to MacOS I was amazed how convinient is the mac layout: cmd and option under thumbs. I do the same for Linux immediately: win/alt/ctrl instead of ctrl/win/alt. And esc on caps of course.

You could use Firefox with uBlock Origin and Video Background Play Fix extensions. Just saying.

I agree but people often compare vanilla text editors with fully-featured IDEs which doesn't make sense.

Sorry but Sublime isn't an IDE. It's a text editor. Emacs and Vim too.

Don't confuse Mac's Ctrl with Ctrl on Win/Linux. Mac's equivalent to non-Mac's Ctrl is Cmd.

> If I understand things correctly this is the missing piece: persistence. So if the user goes offline and makes changes, those will persist so they can be synced when the user goes online again. 1. You can persist data with localStorage

I agree that it could work for a single user web app that works locally, but it's a pretty rare case.

> better Sorry, but it's just you opinion. Do you have proofs of how t-shirt store will benefit of putting RDBMS on a client side (how much space does it take BTW) instead of using simple list of objects? And you still haven't

You haven't answered the questions. I don't see a reason to use RDBMS in a browser, if it's not, for example, an SQL tutorial site. You gave an example of a t-shirt store. A plain array of JS objects is enough to store items

And how does it help in case of frontend development? A half of those points don't apply to web dev. Do you really need joins? Do you really need atomic transactions? Do you really need SQL? Most of API's that used by web apps ope

Why do you need RDBMS for it? localStorage/IndexDB isn't enough?

Interesting. What other gestures do you use? I've tried to setup BTT to emulate cmd+tab with swipe right or left but it wasn't a smooth experience so I've made Touch-Tab https://github.com/ris58h/Touch-Ta
