That's the point: I don't. So bragging how it is easy to have an initial setup with a command or to makes no sense. It's what you do till the project reaches the production state.

It was not a mistake. The theory being that HTML describes the structure, and CSS describes the presentation. Do not forget, that there are other ways for the page to be rendered: e.g. in screen reader or for print. We had "HTML and

Why don't you list all the command you have to issue before the project hits the production? I can do this too: without the "modern frontend" all I had to do is open my code editor.

I wonder, when did this shift happen wrt the Web: we only care about how it is easy for the developers, not for the users. Despite all the talk about UX a lot of the momentum is still in the wrong direction. I've been writing working w

I doubt there are any report of "serious long term damage even in mild/asymptomatic cases". First, because we simply do not have any data on long term effects for the simple reason that this thing is less than six months old.

There is no guarantee that you won't die from the lighting strike. All the numbers show that risk for the young people is extremely low (though not zero), even lower than some other common ilnesses.

Can we please stop with this narrative? Earth is just a dumb rock. Humans are just one of the species living on it. We are chaning the world, but so did cyanobacteria.

Colds are caused by coronaviruses and rhinoviruses, and there is a bunch of them. So the reason you get them often is not the lack of immunity, but because you can get infected but yet another virus you have no immunity for.

DOM operations are costly whether you do them or React does them. What React offers is avoiding unnecessary DOM operations. However if you need to perform two operations, and React still needs to perform two operations, vanilla will be fa

I actually am very glad that we did not have computers in my school at the end of the 80ies. This was in Lithuania, then a part of the USSR. We had programming classes, so without the computers we were taught the basic concepts: variables,

Unless you count thinking as an important skill. It alway baffles me when I see "why don't they teach how to do taxes?". Well they do teach you how to read and hiw to do maths? How hard it is the to put 2 and 2 together?
