Well yeah not the average household obviously but if you really wanted to get rid of your dependency on the grid it would be somewhat possible. As opposed to say drive a at least 70 HP ~ 50 KW car. Not a proposal for everybody of course but

Surely even with parallel programming being notoriously hard to get right it's most probably easier than FPGA programming.

Well what I find interesting here is if they are able to manufacture chips with 7nm litography. Aren't intel and samsung who I belive to be the leaders in the field, still at 14 nm? In case WD manages to beat them to the market with th

This might be a problem with the ways roads are "signed". I believe that stop signs are much more common in the US than in Europe where there are signs that are more relaxed. I.e that you have to stop only in case of another car.

I would be interested in learning more about your experiences using this? Have you been controlling a PC and what are your experiences with entering text and so forth? Hope you can find the time to answer all my stupid questions!

Whenever I feel the need for a tin foil hat I start to wonder if there is a FUD campaign powered by the "establishment" to encourage people not to investigate this area of computer science so that security holes will remain unnoti

Well there is a truth to that. However this might be something symptomatic. As power consumption is getting more and more interesting nowadays, having a minimal impact on system resources overall might still be a sensible goal.
