Yup. If the author doesn't show examples with motion, it is pretty safe to say that it won't look well for animations. This most often does not come for free.

I like to use the VSCode extension for this, ASCIIDecorator. It's good for having readable text in the Minimap.

Ten years ago I used to play PlanetSide 2 a bit, which is pretty similar to what you descibe. Just gotta swap the RTS-part with FPS :) But there is war waging back and forth the planetary map, 24/7. Well it was like this when I played,

Usually these are done in 3D vector tools (Inkscape or Illustrator), or 3D software like Blender. Now you said "more convenient", so here is an (untested!) idea: You could try to use Assetforge, which is a kitbashing tool for prot

For some reason I get typescript errors and a blank page on imgur since today, both in Vivaldi and Firefox. But I'll look into the issue, thanks for the feedback!

Funny you mention SvelteKit - my former blog version was written with Svelte/SvelteKit (using the static adapter). I wrote a bit about why I went away from this, but in a nutshell: I am not using "modern" deploying techniques

As someone not overly backend proficient, I love the concept of flat-file. I just rebuilt my blog with another flat file CMS, literally finished it last night, and today I am reading this article and think, whether WonderCMS may have been a

Usually I make the final document in scribus, once text blocks with more than one line are involved. Similar to how AI users reach out for ID when it gets text-heavy, I guess.

Yep, the chocolate part almost made me stop reading the whole article. I mean, I'm happy they note the number of "not interested" at all, but they don't loose a word about it, that's a bit narrow in focus. Also, a b
