And what is the competition? What is the end game? Fastest LLM code golfer? What about those getting in your way due to unsuccessful LLM use? What about the successful loud ones, who do they compete with if not you?

Yeah if your Csuite and managers are brain dead and pushing psudeo-intellectualism then how do the workers produce the same gains? My boss can’t even be bothered to project plan and half my company jumps at the idea of hiring a contractor f

No I’m not arguing about the specifics of the Apple ecosystem, you are. And you’re still ignoring what a Steam for Movies would be. That’s the conversation, not “iTunes Movie store can stream movies”. And I am providing factual information

The number of people doing it is irrelevant because the larger point was being able to download the movie on any platform. Steam on Linux is just a good example of supporting almost all platforms to distribute media.

You can download a copy of the installers and game files on steam. Steam allows you to install on any hard drive or device that runs Steam. Streaming apps download and store data in drm encrypted formats and by and large do not allow you to

I actually have made movies and they are all available to download online for free. Not the gotcha you think. And also totally unrelated to the idea of Steam for Movies.

No you’re ignoring the criteria for why someone would want Steam for Movies. It’s not for the pleasant thought that they can stream movies from Apple and download it when they want through specific hardware. People back up their games from

But if you use the app you’re only streaming from Apple servers. That Apple server copy can be revoked at any time. And 60% is not 100%, my point stands you need an expensive device just to purchase and watch it. Probably multiple expensive

The iTunes movie store is not friendly outside of the Apple ecosystem. Making the entire idea not really affordable since you need a expensive electronic device to utilize it sanely. Might as well find another way to get to it at that point

This was not always true and running rootless has been a benefit of Podman for a long time. Docker also does not run rootless by default afaik, thus making the attack surface greater by default. The other main improvement of Podman over Doc

And? What advantage does that have for you over me when it comes to a personal project? What does that velocity get me? More time to foolishly rewrite/regenerate the already built software from scratch? I don’t spend a lot of time nami

But “are you really moving at speed after you generate the majority of your application?” is my other point. If you were to start working somewhere with an existing product the changes you would apply are more than likely incremental. What

It might centralize around a specific framework but I think part of the problem is that people want to generate their own framework or at least not care about what the framework is/does/can do. They treat the LLM as the framework
