I 100% do karaoke (or rather, sing along) in the car with my family and love it. But why does this need to be built-in when any smartphone would do? (The article isn't really about karaoke, just wanted to vent about creeping featurism

I think Taylor Swift is actually a perfect example, it's quite common to hear people say "I don't know any song by her beyond shake it off". I challenge anyone from the '80s not to know of a few songs by Madonna or

It's a rework of the old SCP story, I asked him what changed and he said "too much to mention". I read the original online so I'm looking forward to pay for a book just to give back. Agreed on hist short stories too!

If you issue currency you invite inflation (at least according to most economists), and there's an argument that it's better to screw foreign debt owners rather than make people who elect you unhappy.

What about the labor market? Where are you getting more workers given unemployment is extremely low and the current administration is against immigration? That should lead to salary increases which could lead to inflation.

Google has as much data on me as anyone is ever going to have. At a minimum, it knows I'm middle aged and have a family, and where I live. And yet, this morning it adviced me to go to a youth-hostel-with-nightclub in my own city (via G

I wonder if this will trigger a sell of in bonds, there's a common story that some investors are only allowed to invest in triple A bonds, and AFAIK this was the last of the big three still holding it for the US.

When cells duplicate they have the same (altered) DNA so the mutated cells survive. You'll end up with mosaicism (cells with different DNA) but presumably you have enough of the new cells to fix the problem the original ones had. You d
