When listening to podcasts where EU politicians are interviewed it seems like this is less of a problem there. EU politics have a high impact but a low "fame" aspect. Maybe the people that care about impact and not about fame are

I always found it surprising that joining on foreign key is not possible in SQL. I'm no expert, but looking at PRQL this feels like it should fit in quite well with the philosophy.

I'm probably going to use it, but isn't it valuable to be a bit skeptical and question what the long-term effects may be? Over the past decades we went from snail mail to email to instant messaging, each step made it easier to wri

I tried that too yesterday! I wanted to try Gnome 41 so I used the gnome template in archinstall, but then afterwards I got in a big mess with NetworkManager vs. systemd-networkd and the docs said NetworkManager was included with the gnome

That's not completely true, while WSL doesn't help Windows GUI apps to be more cross-platform, it does help Linux GUI apps to work on Windows[0] So to refer back to the top comment we could say that Microsoft is proposing WSL as a

The way I understood it the acids in the food make the enamel softer. Brushing while the enamel is softened can result in brushing away the outermost layer of enamel. Waiting until 45-60 minutes supposedly allows the saliva to normalize the

I don't know how "at some point you end up in a position of diminishing returns" in this case is an argument against EA. In the book Doing Good Better one of the core ideas of EA is defined as investing in problems that are n
