OK, understood. One remaining question: is it enough to allow the re-linking to run in developer or emulated hw? Does LGPL e.g. forbid code signing of firmware?

Why would you need to allow modifications the binary und er LGPL? You will need to ship the source of qt and all mods you made to it, but that is it. Or am I missing sth?

It is equally disturbing if museums see themselves forced to to move to forced to only fans in protest because of prudish US corps governing the web [0]. I think if there would be more middle ground it would be less of a business model. [0]

The claiming was 'solved' and ORCID, which both basically do no checking at all. It's just a yes/no clicking for fuzzy matched author name lists. So I guess it is enough until there is a dispute. If you are important eno

In the old world a simple global http proxy would suffice to catch all such traffic, but I guess pip is also protecting my package installation behaviour against eavesdropping of foreign intelligence.

I agree with your sentiment. We were excited by HTTP2 at the time for use in embedded/iot devices (e.g. out of order responses to relax buffering, compression to save bandwidth) until we understood it is close to being unimplementable.

This a hard stance if you talk just about the code (not the model weights). The llama community licence is a bit weird and probably not an OSI compliant licence, but close. Regarding weights this is different, but to me it is actually diffi
