I'm getting a little tired of these "burning through money" reports. Of course they're burning through money. They're setting up a factory that is planned to produce 5000 cars a week. This costs a lot of capex money

This is amazing. If only it would also work in my phone. Probably for the best to stop me “wasting” time ;).

I like the feel of the new keyboard, though I have two issues with it: 1. sometimes buttons do lock up. i'm unsure whether this is the same issue as in the article, but by pressing them harder they typically start working again. 2. the

That is not representative of either the time frame or the resources available to Mozilla. Mozilla has had Hundreds of millions of annual income through their search associations [1]. It’s surprising how they’ve wasted that amount of money

I love usb-c. It’s extremely convenient when travelling to only have to take one charger and a usb switch for all 4 devices. I also find it far more convenient when working. One usb-c plug to plug into my entire work desk (monitor, backup h

Thousands of years? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's really only been put into a constitution a smigeon more than 200 years ago. But that's besides the point. Freedom of speech has always been an imperfect principle. At anyt

This is just the battle of freedom of speech vs the natural behaviour of humans to troll when in an "anonymous" internet environment. The difference now is that everyone can state their opinion all the time very easily in the inte

This is one of the oddest false beliefs about electric cars. 1) they already have the 300+ mile range for the 4 hour round trip, 2) electricity is totally abundant anywhere. Far more so than fossil fuels. Building charging stations is reall

A quick google Search states that there are 449 currently active reactors. Pair that with 50+ years of mass usage, and we have a pretty large data set that should be more than sufficient to calculate the risk. And as I stated previously: ga

Gas has actually been this cheap before, and for a long time so. 20 years ago oil cost less than a third than it is now, and yet then fossil fuel prices weren't an issue. The real reason is deeper than that. Nuclear is simply put very

I see a lot of technocratie on this site bemoaning the dying of nuclear. We've tried for 70+ years and have as yet not succeeded to use nuclear as a financially feasible energy source. Anyone trying to argue against this please answer

The quoted statistics are interesting, but irrelevant when it comes to the actual use of nuclear. Furthermore, why are solar and wind energy missing from these stats? They account for 90% of new power in Europe in 2016 [1], and I'd ass

I never got why the heat in the tube was not being used as a heat source. You could extract the heat and supply it to surrounding buildings at a cost, thereby cooling the tube. The tech is readily available. It would be a win win situation.
