If I had to guess, I think he's talking about coroutines that allow you to pass data as well as take it out. Python's PEP 342, which expanded python generators into truer coroutines, has a decent discussion on the differences. ht

If I'm remembering my history right, there were two main reasons for the name. It was, in part, a callback to the older, defunct, Democratic-Republican party that had been around in the early US. It was also a mild dig against the Demo

Speaking of the history of roguelikes, I've been pretty impressed by Nicolas Casalini, aka Darkgod. I'm not sure exactly how long he's been involved in the scene, but he's been developing since at least Pernband back in

The Supreme Court only takes on a fraction of the cases that appeal to them. Given the 9-0 ruling and seemingly clearcut contract situation, does anyone know why they chose to take this case in the first place?

If you don't mind 2d and are ok without competitive multiplayer, AI War: Fleet Command is a really good take on the RT4X genre.

About 250 million iphones have been sold. That's fairly close to the WHO estimate of 210 million cases of Malaria in 2010. Even accounting for overlap, the hyperbole is a bit excessive there.

Sucked might be taking it a little far. Though it didn't work well as a game, the editors they created were really, really good. A very nice combination of user friendly and just powerful enough for creativity. One of my biggest disappointm

If you're talking about the old Middle Earth one (tome2), then it's a very different game in many respects. A lot more changed besides the graphics, but it's turned into a pretty polished game that encapsulates many of the best parts of *ba

Tome 4 ( http://te4.org )is a really polished, modern take on roguelikes. It's also based on a pretty modular, GPL3 licensed engine, in case you ever feel like making your own.
