Another way to increase scrolling performance is to only load images after they are visible. However, it is fairly tricky to get it to work. Doing it in HTML and CSS is indeed a lot easier.

Ever since I upgraded to Lion, a double tab in Safari to zoom into the content part of the text is all it took to avoid the vomit.

I actually had "Thanks to Homakov" inside the title of this post but I guess I wasn't allowed to have that in the title and someone changed it.

We won't have photorealistic game for a long time because how way our GPU and 3D graphics works. With a pipeline architecture, every single object inside a game is rendered individually. Things like shadows and reflections in games are all

Why would they put 6mA when you are suppose to send 2mA? 9v/6mA is 1500Ohms. If they added a 3k resistor in series with their setup, they would've up the total resistance to 4500Ohms, resulting in 9v/4500Ohms = 2mA of current.

Thats quite a good business model. Offer free course, earn money on textbook. I think the economic of scale here can give world class educators good incentives to teach good courses, and affordable enough for the masses to get the education

they should've left out the touch screen, and added a keyboard and touchpad to it. Make it a android powered "netbook". Without the touchscreen, it should lower their BOM cost a bit so they can pay for better hardware that matters like a fa

I hope they have enough margin on those cars to keep making them. Automotive business is a tough business with fairly high margin. The BOM for an EV is much higher than regular cars and it looks like Tesla is running on quite a low margin t

This can be built easily by connecting 9v battery, a potentiometer, and a multimeter on current mode in series. The potentiometer basically controls the current and the multimeter displays how much you are putting in yourself. I'm curious o

I like it. I'm located in Canada and when I put in my canadian zip code first just to get back to the main page again. You should give a notification when someone enters in a zip code you no longer support instead of failing silently.

I used Bootstrap 2 for my weekend Hackathon project. The best feature I find is the media query. Also dividing the grid from 16 to 12 makes dividing the page up into 3 columns possible.

Actually my original algorithm did exactly that. The problem with that approach is the amount of energy required to change the cell voltage by 0.1V goes up exponentially once it's below 3.5V, where the charge curve flattens out. An example

thats correct. I'm typing this on my phone bare with my short response. From 20 to 80% state of charge. The cell voltage will be around 3.3v. When the battery gets charged to more than 3.5v, it is pretty much full. The bms will cut the char
