I think vimium supports that behaviour out of the box. Either it or pentadactyl (I always forget which is which when it comes to features). And yeah, that totally makes sense. It seems snappier than vimium in a totally unscientific test as

I'm saying that it's trivial as "news". If vim releases 7.4 or someone writes a life-altering plugin then I absolutely would love to see that posted here. Another "I found $editor and now I work slightly faster" post is pretty pointless. Th

I loves me a good editor war. There's something deeply satisfying about finding someone with devoted but contrary beliefs about something ultimately trivial (like text editors) and then ridiculing them mercilessly over a few beers. But this

Why is this on HN?

I agree. I think it's awesome. My comment was more in reaction to "bye bye images" in the submission title.

Not really. You can inline base64 encoded images. The main problem being that it's about equally as insane as drawing your images with CSS.

Are you kidding? You realise the CSS has to be requested right? With a seperate request? And that you could probably optimise your individual pixel rendering css to some kind of binary format? Like PNG or JPG?

Sigh So you wrote an opinionated fanboi post about apple and then immediately submitted it to HN? Protip, if it's worth submitting, someone else will do it for you.

Totally. I'm not saying don't submit. I'm just saying blindly upvoting everyone who tries undermines the whole point of having a karma system in the first place.

Not everyone can be an astronaut. This community is built on doing awesome stuff, and sadly that pretty much entails that if you worked really hard and ultimately failed then your work is of little consequence. A well thought out post detai

Oh come on seriously? Brainfuck? If you really have to post up esoteric languages from the distant past, do INTERCAL which at least is too much of a pain in the ass to have been implemented by everyone.

I use my Geeks circle on G+, a few close friends on IRC and there are a couple of close friends I'll call in a pinch. Although are we talking about geeky ideas or life crap?

I think the name is referenced in the README, but for fullness sake- Originally it was to be called the twitterator, because I'm not great at naming things. Evidently twitter won't let you have twitter in the name, so I changed it to twatte
