I think the eventual idea is that 5G will replace Wifi for most casual use cases. This has happened with 4G already to a large degree - I don't bother connecting to Cafe or Hotel Wifi these days as 4G is faster anyway. 5G would eventua

Yes. Deployments should be quick, simple, reliable and accessible to developers. With automated builds + unit tests you can have simple deployments that take < 10 minutes if not < 5 minutes without too much complexity on most medium s

If you store them as strings instead of binary (which I'm guessing 99% of hashes are), they take up more DB space currently, and passing them round is slower, e.g. as etags etc.

I tested on MacOS and iOS and the colours don’t change in Chrome or Safari. None changed - I changed my system highlight on MacOS and desktop background on both, and had no changes here. I don’t have a Linux or Windows machine around to tes

Zooming on MacOS in Firefox is awful - or least was a few months back when I last checked. It doesn’t smoothly zoom but just bumps font size - complete deal breaker for me.

I've always wondered if they named it after tracking pixel technology, something Google is very familiar with. The idea that your 'pixel' can be taken anywhere and can ping back location etc to Google seems very much like a p

I do agree, but do serve webp when I can to save bandwidth. Webp has been around over 10 years now, so it's not exactly new. As a somewhat interesting aside, Apple don't even support their own HEIC in Safari, so maybe they just do

If you have a Touch Bar MBP this works with Chrome and the Fingerprint Sensor out of the box. On iOS 13 you need a hardware token currently. MacOS Safari doesn't have support.

I think the idea of games like Blackjack/Poker is that intuitively it feels like it's a skill game, rather than just a game of chance. It feels like if you played enough you'd get better - after all, with only 52 cards, how h

Lack of support in Safari feels like it must be deliberate - I can't believe they just forgot to do this. I wonder if heif/heic is currently to be considered a 'private variable', and that the 'public getImage()
