One good thing about advertising is that it allows the poorest free access to most content. Hopefully these initiatives will keep that.

Interlink. Like cellphones allow you to choose the UI you want to call the person you want on any network, I think the future should be all services cross licensing content.

You can wipe down a tablet but not a pad. Isn't there some risk of transmission via the paper pad? (Thank you for the insights!)

You're betting against human ingenuity here. Solar still works in cloudy weather, and you can compensate by building more than you typically need. You can transmit increasingly long distances. Here's a line working at 2300+km. ht

Supply and demand is more core than anchoring and it was certainly discovered earlier. It's tested all the time. Add tariff, demand drops. That's also economics and works well in 2019. This stuff is now so obvious we've forgo

Depends on the task. I've used more new stuff in the last few years than the previous decade and I'm 46. But I fully appreciate the tradeoffs. No shiny objects is the rule. But break it if it's an obvious (necessary?) improve

Radio probably prevents exclusives to some extent. If you can't get your song onto general radio you're going nowhere. Can't have exclusive online when radio isn't. (generally, obviously there will be exceptions.)

Search for "<my area> plumber" returns totally gamed results. Has for years. No idea why that obvious use case is so broken. My wife hired one and the plumber was useless so I investigated. I've found obvious spam nests

I use more and reduce on the sites that make me type it in. Eg Netflix on smart TV. I don't want to spend time outrunning password guessing tech. QR codes, Samsung.

I don't think it's a monster at all. It's a great country. I do think the leadership isn't giving the full due set of human rights to the citizenry. The people are more important then the current leadership.
