The last job I left was an extremely fulfilling job that I'd gladly stay in for a lot longer. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, work is not the only thing in life. Together with my fiancée, we've decided to move back to our country

So far, after a disappointing experience with WordPress, I've been pretty happy with Jekyll, and would recommend it. I've written a tutorial on how to set up your own from scratch, which might be interesting of you're conside

I think at this point it's irresponsible to do anything other than what you're describing. There's no reason to expect FB to change their strategy.

Looking at that page it's hard to understand what the product is about, or why should I care. Above the fold I can read: "Keep your friends and colleagues in the loop!" "Every day, more and more people are relying on Ope

Exactly my thoughts. I think at this moment we are all so scared of possible future changes, always for the sake of profits against users' will, that something as simple and inoffensive as this is actually a pleasant surprise. I hope t

Should change the title to "I couldn't believe what I saw: this browser plugin is hated by clickbait websites and the reason will blow your mind!"

I think you are missing the point there. Sure, I completely agree with you that those comments are crucial, but they are not informing about the code doing a swap, they are explaining the need of the applied workaround.

This would, IMO, be the best approach. We already have players (Amazon, Nokia, etc) that would certainly be interested in having such a layer that they could apply on top of their services. Then, having an open source community contributing

Google is frequently pushing new Google Play Services that developers can use for their apps. Those services have the massive advantage over AOSP APIs of having OTA updates for all, not having to rely on carriers and manufacturers for full
