We use Nest. It's great, but it doesn't actually include things like ORM. It has good recipes for TypeORM, but nothing is really included.

There's a ton of D&D apps out there. Why do you need VC funding to make a D&D app anyways? Making $137M on a single app (using your numbers) sounds amazing for an indie dev.

Right but the idea is I'm trying to approach it from the front end and define the schema using the GraphQL queries which the front end will use.

I feel like this is close to what I'm looking for but not quite there in terms of minimal boilerplate backend. Basically what I want to do is write a GraphQL schema and have that be the ultimate source of truth. The schema then should

What version did you use? Have the issues been raised and addressed? Curious because I am using it in production and now I'm worried. Would love more information about reproducing the issues as well.

Is this a thing that's happening? I remember how cool I thought FPGAs were from my college CE classes. Seems intuitive to me that you would want to specialize the hardware once you have a process figured out. The fact that FPGAs are up

Any tips for how to work more functional programming into my TS code? I'm trying to learn more functional techniques.

This is so cool! I’ve just started myself (still putting together my blog). I really want to learn functional programming, maybe writing about it would be a good way to start on my journey too!

I just downloaded this yesterday and it’s already been insanely good. Really stoked to see more players and improvement in this space.

Can you make WASM apps using js toolkits that compiles to native desktop yet? Seems like that will be a huge step forward from electron apps.

The REST client extension is so awesome, ever since I figured out how to use it I've been trying to convince everyone I know to use it instead of Postman, cURL, etc. It's just so easy to save common requests to a file and have eve

I tried to do this for my last project but ended up spending too much time making the blog and didn't get around to properly starting the project! Maybe instead of rolling my own site from scratch I'll use Hugo.

Do you use ReasonML on the backend as well? Or just something like ReasonReact? I've been interested in Reason and still wondering the best way to work it into my NodeJS/React/Typescript stack.

s3 (or similar) and managed database seem to be the most "commoditized" (and cheapest) pieces of the cloud services stack. So it seems reasonable to move everything else to cloud-agnostic/on prem while still leaving those pie

I'm a full-stack Typescript dev (React, Node.js, etc.). Lately I've been more intrigued by functional programming. I feel like I've gone pretty deep into OO and classes, inheritance, etc. Looking back, I feel like there is a
