I presume this is a joke, but, if not, good luck. If you can pick the next Google reliably, you're presumably already worth tens of millions.

I'd kill for a way to use iMessage on my Windows desktop, so Apple is doing a great, albeit frustrating, job selling the Apple ecosystem. Wish I could at least use icloud.com. Even went as far as to look into how hard it would be to us

I've heard that advice as well, and I'm guessing it's either from slum-lords or landlords that haven't encountered tenants willing to hire lawyers. Probably a viable strategy for very-low income tenants and college stude

Fair enough. I did not consider that aspect. I'd still hope there would be a slightly less annoying way to accomplish that though.

To others thinking about doing this: keep in mind this is against the law in the United States. Even if it's for a "good cause", you can't just "pen-test" (hack) anyone you want. Granted, I really doubt anyone

Why should that be stopped? That should be part of the risk the underwriters take into account when making the loan. Of course, the outcome of that would be that a large number of degree programs would no longer offer any meaningful loans,

Sure, but when does not paying for quality peering become throttling? To me it’s the same thing — just a stealthy workaround. A few months to a year? Poor peering, sure. Longer than that? Intentional.
