Sigh. I wish someone would solve this problem already. I mean, some startup to do to payments what heroku did to rails deployment. All the recurring-billing systems only solve half the problem: the logic for recurring-billing, but it is st

I'm one of the two developers that got the site built at first (as a contractor gig). I can vouch for adennis being really awesome to work with and being a good hustler.

I think this is an underestimate. They also charge a per-booking transaction to the person booking. It is around $10. Assuming that the average booking is 3-nights that's another $3M.

You should not worry about hours. You should worry about results produced over months (or even quarters). Whether the wage ends up being $50/hr or $250/hr matters little so long whatever you need done gets done on time. Caveat emptor: I'm

I think it is fair to say that 37s had some impact on this with basecamp, also. Of course, not of the same order of magnitude as email -- but, email took ~20 years to be widely adopted and accepted.

Having only a mobile web version isn't necessarily obsolete. The current demand for native apps on mobile devices stems from the fact that it is easier to get high quality user experience on the native apps than on mobile web browsers. This

I've remote-paired a couple of times with skype + screen. It is very important that both have a good headset/mic. In screen, we used a shared session and each keep a separate terminal window open for each tab in the session. The downside wa
