Hey HN, Posting this project again with the little hero page we made. We also added support for JS (not just typescript). Mailing is a little framework for writing and testing emails using react components. It uses Mailjet’s very cool MJML

I'm betting your first book deal (could be ghostwritten) would more than make up for the discrepancy. You might also invest in a hotel down the street and suggest foreign dignitaries stay there. Or employ your kids who can do the same!

Trying to get clarification, as a layman here I think I'm missing your point. My understanding is that laws are by their nature kind of vague because the world is full of edge cases and they always require interpretation as they encoun

Hey HN, Over the past few weeks I’ve gone down a rabbit hole with some friends making a little framework for writing and testing emails using react components. It uses Mailjet’s very cool MJML components and the venerable nodemailer. This i

Incredible product demo [0] and clean design, congrats on launching! The onboarding looks so smooth because you pull so much context from browser history. Impressively simple. My technical question is how you get the feed to work (or maybe

I’d say it’s more like painting… a bit of both plus the end result has to be “good” for the tech(nique) to matter.

Good point, but why can't you do the same thing in a big org? Of course there are different kinds of orgs, but in my experience doing what you described (just make a decision yourself and note it to stakeholders later) is always the mo

I agree being stoned all the time can have bad effects. Similar to video games, TV, instagram, or going out, if you do it too much then you might look up after a while and realize that you haven't developed as many deep skills or relat

What if the employer is a smart contract with no owner? Or you're saying that the freelancer would be liable for corporate taxes of the smart contract?

Agree. The problem you describe is the inverse of the common testing problem you see with microservices (a dependent service changed without kicking off downstream tests against the new version). I'd take your version any day... It

Is it a good trade? To me it seems like maintaining a gem/library is less complex than maintaining a service that exposes the functionality of said gem. No networking, deployment configuration, request handling, parsing, host monitorin

Hm, sorry for the confusion but yes you misunderstood. When you got the yellow E, there was an E somewhere in the word but not where you guessed. Then that E was replaced with an I. If helpful, here's what I think the words were at eac

Yeah, we debated that but it seems weird not to acknowledge the connection. The name is a 1 letter edit from wordle because it’s a twist on wordle where one letter is edited every turn. Thanks for trying it out.

Yo HN, happy Sunday! A friend reached out to my partner and I with a fun idea for a game. Over the next two weekends we prototyped and polished. It’s a wordle-style guessing game but each time you guess, the mystery word is edited by one le

This is so cool. Would love a p2p railsish full-stack framework please, this is a great first step. Why p2p? In theory it allows one to push hosting and bandwidth costs to the clients and make software that is usable as long as people want
