Also at least for Chrome the limitations are delayed until Chrome 103 if I read this right. See update at the top of https://developer.chrome.com/blog/enabling-shared-array-buff... Chrome stable is at 97 currently.

I, for one, would like backend/desktop/non-web developers to simplify things. Why do they need HTTP servers, logging libraries, UI frameworks, compilers, IDEs, APM, status pages, databases, caches, queues and algorithms. All us fr

I hear this a lot and I have to wonder if people have used JS tooling lately. When targetting the web all I need is `npm install`, `ng new`, `ng serve` and `ng build`. I have no idea what Webpack version or plugins or Sass compiler is in us

Absolutely agreed. React is quick to learn and to be productive, but becomes difficult to maintain as the app grows, Angular has more of a learning curve but once you get over it building and maintaining large apps is much easier.

Ruby has two kinds of exception handling. There is try/catch, this is used for flow control and should not be used for error handling (it doesn't have stack traces). And then there is raise/rescue. Using try/catch as int

Great point. So if you want that to come out atomically and "clean" you need to rebase the world- nontrival at best. I think that's worse than having multiple PRs around a feature. But I guess real engineers get it right the

Yeah that's on YouTube. I get why it's hard for them, as unlike in Casting, you can only deploy media types that can be natively played back in order to support Airplay, because you are passing a media reference, not a web page.
