They’re saying Stable Diffusion is to artists as Expedia was to travel agents.

Mac users don’t need them. Not sure about Insert, but Cmd+backspace, Cmd+up or left arrow, Cmd+down or right arrow give you delete/home/end respectively. Alt+up/down arrow gives you page up/down.

Your second point is by design. macOS lets apps run without windows. Hold Option while once you select the app via Cmd+tab and it’ll open a new window.

These are all pretty trivial registry changes. A PowerShell script should do it.

Ubuntu Server, once de-Snapped, is a really nice base to install a DE on. Just did that this week with awesome WM and I have zero complaints.

I’ve religiously updated a new-linux-install.sh. The majority of packages I build from source, and the remaining I use the distro’s package manager. I’m well aware that nix is a very different beast, but in practice this gives me basically

You don't even need the ethernet cable. A single USB-C cable (assuming your Pi has a port) is sufficient. A buddy of mine has a Pi velcro'd to the back of his iPad Pro and just ssh's in to/from the USB-C network ports. I

Uh, why exactly am I being downvoted for this? ^ IgG tests are objectively bad science, used to scam people into thinking they have allergies when they don’t. IgG will basically just give you a list of what foods you’ve eaten lately. They a

This is nothing like VS, though I suppose one could be forgiven for thinking otherwise due to Microsoft’s complete inability to pick anything other than the most confusing name possible for any given product.

When I say the redesign I audibly groaned. Just another bland, featureless, nothing website. While I certainly don't agree that the old one was "perfect," it at least had some sort of character.

Yup. PyEnv for installing various versions. /path/to/pyenv/version/bin/python -m venv venv. Activate the venv (I made "av" and "dv" aliases in my .zshrc). Done, proceed as usual.

I used to think this and rage at the current state of Python dependency management. Then I just buckled down and learned the various tools. It's honestly fine.

Dunno, haha. It's running on my M1 MacBook Air and I haven't noticed a single affect on battery life. I literally have it open all the time, in addition to probably about a hundred Chrome tabs, and the battery life is still insane

I develop in an Ubuntu Multipass VM on my M1 MacBook Air. It's great -- I get all the GUI/ecosystem niceties of macOS, but work in "real" Linux. I mount my Mac home folder on the Ubuntu VM, so in a way this is kind of li
