I would contribute to a project like this. Instead is subreddit urls it's neighborhood or town name? Does Brooklyn have one but also NYC? Park Slope?

I spent a few years in SE Asia and saw some abuse of stray street dogs in the city. Then I realized why the dogs were so calm/shy around humans.

This is really nice and all but I'm pretty sure shortage of workers is not the reason this doesn't already happen. But if this helps to raise money / grants, I'm for it.

Last time I checked the data price for twilio sim was not good for daily use. Far cheaper to use something like Google Fi and a data only sim.

Agreed. I contribute to Google maps a lot and I've looked into contributing to open street maps but the options seemed pretty clunky. I recommend mapbox to all of my clients over Google maps.
