There are (were?) many lux condo buildings in Bangkok, at least a few years ago, that had plenty of open inventory so they were putting the units online themselves. The condo lobby would take care of your check-in process.

I've stayed at quite a lot of Airbnb over 4 years of traveling and every time this happened I reported it to Airbnb and they were usually quick to help me get into another place. The service got worse as the years went on, though. I ba

The Airbnb app prevents screenshots on certain pages on the OS level on Android, I'm sure the Gmail app will do the same.

I use cloud9 and am pretty happy with it. It lets you connect to any instance anywhere (I use ubuntu) and it works as expected. How do you feel like they destroyed it?

https://maruos.com You're looking for MaruOS. I've been following development for a while and it had come a long way. While it might not be this project in particular, I feel it's the future of computing.

This seems like great advice, thanks for suggesting. I'll be doing this for my critical domains.

Not sure why you're being downvoted. I totally agree, anyone with that much power and influence should want to make sure they are putting their best foot forward at all times.

From what I know about the tech/talent there, it won't be happening any time soon

True, and finding good talent here which is good with new tech is also quite difficult.

The probable explanation of 'trying to log more hours' totally makes sense. This lead me to think, I wonder how much fuel is burnt / Co2 is emitted for these essentially useless purposes around the world.

Thanks, but isn't that only mysql mostly? TablePlus supports a very wide range of databases, I'm looking for a single database manager in the cloud for multiple different db types (postgres, mysql, mongo, etc).

How is that a downside? I use slack for personal and business and there is a pretty clear separation based on community.

The problem I notice is that I'm getting calls from my local area code (low population area). Chances are those numbers are registered, used, and released. Poor dev or person in the near future will find themselves on a blacklist.
