I use Mastodon, which displays posts in a chronological order, without any black-box AI algorithms. https://joinmastodon.org if you're interested :-)

I use runtypes: import { Record, Number, Static } from 'runtypes'; export const Thing = Record({ thing: Number }); export type Thing = Static<Thing>; Then you can import it like this:

Only Level 3, sadly, which means it can decrypt Standard Definition (480p) videos. This has been out for a while. Some reputable people in the pirating industry have actually cracked Level 1, which means they can decrypt 4K! :-)

The hyperbole contributes nothing of any value to the conversation. While folks are definitely making good counter-points, I think the question needed to be asked.

True. Reddit did that, and it definitely backfired.

I was thinking more along the lines of simply checking the email of the (real) commit author against the "email" used in the Git commit. Would this not be possible?

I'd still call it a leak, since GitHub is closed-source. Then again, this raises an important point: with the source code so easily acquired, why isn't it open-source?

I'd still say it was a bug in GitHub, to be frank. This definitely shouldn't be allowed.

No idea, didn't see the original thread. I'm just trying to get more wind behind this, so more people protest against it. It's not really fair on these guys.

I use AdGuard DNS. Not perfect (they can still log your DNS history), but it definitely prevents any interception or malicious code stealing passwords. DNS is a lot simpler than blocking extensions. That being said, I do like Firefox's

That could introduce security issues, though. I guess auto-update is a two-sided coin?
