The same thing could be designed with greater memory bandwidth, and so it's just a matter of time (for NVIDIA) until Apple decides to compete.

Trump wants lower interest rates. The road to getting there will inevitably involve some pessimistic forecasts. That benefits Trump too because he can say "they all said the economy was going to be bad, but look what I accomplished&quo

It took me a while to learn to maximize o1. But 4.5 should seemingly work like 4o. Based on that it does seem underwhelming. Looking forward to hearing about any cases where it truly shines compared to other models.

based on a few initial tests GPT-4.5 is abysmal. I find the prose more sterile than previous models and far from having the spark of DeepSeek, and it utterly choked on / mangled some python code (~200 LoC and 120 LoC tests) that o3-mi

I want a lens mount "case" for my iphone that lets me connect high end lenses and has its own full frame sensor and image stabilization tech inside.

The biggest time delay is getting through security and boarding, then waiting for baggage claim. 1) TSA stuff doesn't keep anyone any safer 2) protectionism: foreign carriers are banned from flying many domestic routes. We'd have

How can one do that without transparency? Elon seems almost proud of the boorishness of his "wood chipper" and the lack of transparency. He declares entire programs to be fraud and declares them cancelled, seemingly taking only mi

I agree with all of your data points. NVIDIA was lucky that AMD didn't do any of that stuff and sat out of the professional GPU market when it actually had significant advantages it could have employed.

Based on reports from a16z the US Government likely wants to bifurcate the top-tier tech and bring it into DARPA, with clear rules for how capable anything can be that the public will be able to access. I consider it unlikely that the new a
