Any idea how something like this happens? They got at least 22 million euros in funding and seemed to be managed by academics but somehow completely missed the mark?

And all Sony had to do was regularly back up, encrypt and delete the emails off their servers. This is the prime thing motivating their actions and driving their fear. And protect sensitive documents better but that seems secondary. Leavi

You can vaporize it or eat it for a similar (but different) effect. For treating pain, nausea and stimulating appetite, I am fine with marijuana. I've taken nausea medication, all of which stop working eventually. I fear that a dervi

The comments seem disportionately negative towards Snowden. I have rarely encountered anyone in real life that knew much about Snowden let alone had a strong conviction about him one way or the other. Maybe there's so many negative co

Off topic, while I know how to spell fluoride I rarely write flurodiation. And I rely on Google's spellcheck which for whatever reason will show incorrect spellings. And in gmail, it will also do the opposite; indicate a correctly sp

I really want to use Harry's but I noticed similiar problems. The clogging and it just not working as well as my old Mach 3. Even with a new razor, it can be tedious. Maybe my face has adapted to the silly vibrating razor.

Flouridation became widely used in the US in the 1960s. It's hard to discern facts with all the hyperbole from activists against it but I thought flouridation was unnecessary now because of toothpaste and how people brush their teeth

I've been to my GP three times before I realized I've never even met him. I've been seeing a nurse practitioner.

This looks interesting. I love Alain de Botton and what he's trying to do by inspiring a type of secular Renaissance in traditions, religious activities and culture. Doing things like having church-like sermons on ideas, the importan

I think this is a valid question for so many lower-middleclass and slightly above that live in SF, LA and NYC. I would never want to live there unless my job specifically made it worthwhile. Being the working poor in a major city and havi

If I feel lonely and isolated, I am less inclined to be creative. If I am healthy and socially active, I feel more motivated to work harder and create. I have wasted so much while being alone and while being very social. It's a vicio

A lot of what's called racism is personal insults. People just look for things that describe their intended target and say them in derogatory ways. Of course, there's real racism on all sides, which are mostly negative assumption

I actively try to avoid 20/20 and Dateline crime mysteries. There are so many of these and they are so engaging, and often without any resolution beyond a "he said, she said". The only conclusion I can draw from them is tha

There was also a study recently in Europe that either tested just THC or just a CBD which found no effective treatment for cancer.

Isolating just THC or just CBDs can be problematic in not knowing exactly why it's working. This happened with Marinol/Dronabinol not being as effective as regular marijuana with increasing appetite and reducing nausea. Obviously

If you ever change your mind in the future, I think you would have a more positive experience with N,N-DMT. DMT is very similar to serotonin and trytophan so perhaps that's why it's well tolerated by the body. With a breakthrough

DMT is easily tolerated by the body and only lasts 10 minutes. There's no hangover type effect and it doesn't last hours. It's also infinitely more intense, with an overwhelming sense of love and comfort. LSD is like riding
