Nitpick on one of the image captions: "A queue of Trabants passing Checkpoint Charlie on their way to West Berlin, November 1989." In the front I mostly see a couple of Wartburgs not Trabants. The Wartburg was East Germany'

There has been a staggering amount of innovation in machine translation. Google has some of the leading groups in research for neural machine translation and they put a lot of it into production. Saying that it works just like Altavista

Car2go started out as a joint venture of Daimler and the car rental company Europcar. Nowadays it is a joint venture only of car makers Daimler and BMW. I actually wonder how profitable these very short term rentals are on their own. Maybe

Some drivers indeed use the existence of such lanes as extra fuel for their harassment, which sucks: Very often these lanes are objectively dangerous for cyclists because they are way easier to be "overlooked" at intersections. Wh

This is not true. In Germany bike lanes are only required to be used when there is a sign saying so (and when they usable and safe, which you cannot expect, sadly). By default bike lanes are optional.

My point was that ensembles of deep neural networks are commonly used and yield higher accuracies.

Why shouldn't you employ an ensemble of deep neural networks?

I dislike how this map is presented as almost official. The author does not seem to have any relation to Berlin traffic authorities. This should be framed clearly as a proposal.
