That as pretty fun. Could be useful to learn regex. The leftmost rule had the first character partially outside the screen on my tablet.

Some games have this feature called "streamer mode", where some text that would normally be on screen is removed, like username or party codes. Makes sense for a terminal to do the same for other sensitive data.

If Node becomes much better thanks to the existence of Bun, then I think Bun accomplished its goals. Same for C and Zig.

Yes, I wouldn't train AI on Zig code just yet. But here's a radical idea, rename the language the moment it hits 1.0: all documentation, blog posts, discussions, SO answers and LLMs for older versions gets automatically voided. Fo

People like bragging/advertising about their language of choice. Maybe others who like the language will get interested in collaborating, or employers who need developers for that language might get in contact with them. Also, unsafe r

Gtk is more than Gnome. It is also used by Xfce and other DEs. So while Qt is also popular, I think it's fair to call it the most popular.

Youtube freezes for me on Windows with Firefox. Sometimes it freezes the whole browser so added a rule to block it in uBo and use another browser for it (which also helps me reduce my time on youtube thanks to the added friction). I don

What's a good novel from the last 20 years? Genuine question. Looking back at everything I've read, it all has been older than that. I don't really pay attention to novel news so it's more like I only read stuff I'v

Thanks, I wasn't aware he released another just last year! I'd assume streaming services have changed the industry. Things like Devilman Crybaby wouldn't have been released if Netflix wasn't involved.

Tanigawa released a new volume a few years ago, like 10 years after the last one. But still, it probably doesn't have the popularity it once had so a new animation sounds unlikely.
