I see, but using types for some parts of your code is still better than using none. And yes, actually I am using MobX, too, it's really a good choice for React. Although I miss redux-saga sometimes.

I recently started using TypeScript for my React projects and I am actually pretty happy. I am not actually sure what you mean by typed immutable records in this context, can you explain in more detail?

React may not have "native" support for TypeScript, but in combination with TypeScript using React is so much more fun, if only for the fact that your props can actually be typed and checked at compile time.

Also, for me it's still unclear how versioning is handled. It always seems like you have to use the latest version of the .d.ts and hope it works with your actual package version.

Not <100€ but I can only recommend the Wileyfox Swift [1] which replaced my old Nexus 4 (which I really loved). It runs Cyanogen OS (a commercial version of CyanogenMod). [1]: https://www.wileyfox.com/swift/

I do use double quotes in my JS projects, mostly out of habit though. One reason I can think of why people use double quotes is because JSON only supports double quotes and it's not uncommon to deal with JSON when you program in JS.

I am currently developing my own Markdown editor and looked into CodeMirror, Draft.js and ProseMirror and I also plan to base it on CodeMirror. I think if all you need is "syntax highlighting" (maybe including font sizes for headl

One problem I have with standard action is that on failure I sometimes want to have more than just an Error as payload. Something like `payload: {error, seqId}`. You could add it to error itself, but I find it more consistent to put it into

Personally, I am using CSS Modules with Less as preprocessor, mostly because of constants, color functions and the occasional mixin. I resort to inline styles and sometimes Radium when I deal with highly dynamic styles, usually sizing and p

Wow, that's pretty cool. I tend to use windows a lot though. Within a window I usually have 3-4 panes that I manage using Ctrl-B space to switch layouts.

Good point. I actually don't understand its behaviour in regard to viewport width. Also, there are actually no media queries used in the CSS file.

True, but it's not uncommon to only route the stdout/stderr of each container to fluentd, logstash and the like such that the containers do not have to care about where the logs go (other than just writing to stdout/stderr).

I can't test it right now, but I am pretty sure I tried that before and it opened a new Atom window instead of opening a new tab.

Does anybody know if it's now possible to use Atom as a sane $GIT_EDITOR (or $SUDO_EDITOR...) such that a new tab is opened in an existing window and the invoking process (git, sudo,...) is notified when the tab is closed (similar to S

Lovely. I kind of grown affected to SVG after I had to create a lot of SVGs at our last customer. It's cool because all you need is a text editor and a SVG viewer (I use [1]) to create images. Manually creating paths can be pretty diff

When I first learned about CSS I was pretty intrigued by the W3C Core Styles [1]. They were a pretty good illustration of the separation of presentation from the underlying markup. [1]: http://www.w3.org/StyleSheets/Co
