They have Fido 2FA too! But their web UI looks and feels like it was pieced together by hamsters. It doesn't leave me feeling confident in their technical abilities in any way.

I know I've seen multiple bug reports in open source projects with "well we can't fix this because it'd break things for existing users." Maybe it's a bad thing, but why do you think this doesn't happen?

Reading the bug report, I don't see any denial. The maintainers are pretty clear that they acknowledge the issue, but don't know how to fix it.

Ah, maybe I remembered it wrong... wasn't there some movie/show in the news for not having space explosion sounds? Maybe it was Interstellar.

I had a few. They advertised ogg support but it didn't actually work. The directory ordering was random, and it would lose metadata or not show tracks with non-ascii characters in the filename. It didn't remember position on stop.

I definitely feel this. So many "I made an alternative to X that fixes these issues, or is better in these ways" met with "Well X is fine for me, and I don't need those things, so why change?" These posts are obviou

How do you know which command to copy and paste? Unless you're suggesting to just try them randomly until you get one that seems to do what you want. There are plenty of commands where the documentation is nearly impenetrable (e.g. ffm
