Allo was doomed to fail. RCS is the evolution of SMS, is standardized and should be what the industry uses. Carriers mostly adopted it I think, but as expected, the situation is a mess. Bell, for example, went with Samsung for their RCS inf

Not that I want to encourage piracy, but at this point, if you already paid for them, why not torrent the episodes so you keep a copy?

From a detached point of view, we could say that these ethical concerns are for the people of today. What about 50 years from now? 100 years? 200?

The HN crowd are generally in an advantageous position regarding the job market. Most people here can negotiate their salary and conditions, so having a union negotiate these for them would not make much sense. As for Amazon workers, since

A university I know has an old Nortel PBX. The telecom room is absolutely massive. Filled with cabinets, bix panels and stuff. All of that is at least 35 years old and is still in operation to this day, but a transition to VOIP is planned.

To be fair, the pilot said it looked like a cruse missile probably because that's the only reference point they could use. Let's hope the US military was testing stuff and that's what it was.
