At the end of the TV news bit, the GRPS Maintenance Supervisor said something to the effect of "if we had to replace it tomorrow, we would be looking on ebay.. which is where this one came from.." This doesn't make sense if

Does your espeak version not allow "espeak <words>" ? I don't totally understand the need or use of piping here when not necessary, and when it requires additional keystrokes.
