I don’t think Paul forgot, it’s why he phrased it in terms of stock not dollars. If you start a company and hold on to ownership for 60+ years, you could be forced to sell X% to cover the wealth tax over the years

I don’t get how twitter and msft could buy just the US operations of a company like tiktok... like do the developers and PMs still work in China and then twitter just helps maintain the servers. Or does the app diverge into 2 apps at that p

Yes, I wear them, they make dress pants you can wear to work but it feels like you are almost wearing athletic pants . Really good product in my opinion

The theory and math may account for some of it but The dropout rate is high on the Intro classes though, which are usually just ‘java 101’ I think a lot of people start CS without having coded before, find it more difficult than expected,

I don’t think Zillow holds close to 60k homes... In their last quarter they ended the quarter with 2,700 , they are buying and selling < 2k per quarter. They are still in the testing / ramp phase of this business, I don’t think it w

You are assuming that COVID will go away and not become a yearly thing. Also assuming that this type of shutdown won’t become the new normal in response to a virus. ( something that happens every 4 or 5 years ) I too am hopeful, but I think

I’m surprised reddit let’s the sports stream subreddits stay up. These are kind of going mainstream and must be a huge thorn in the side of cable companies
