"Enthusiast" undersells for sure, but is still a true statement. The fate of all VR at large defines what his ultimate legacy will be. In this, I think "enthusiast" is perhaps a less apt choice than "promoter."

I need to be more observant of what writing I like. I'd love to have a pocket anyzer that could tell me how much of this advice here creates things I like. I try to be much more mindful when I have real intent & want things done. B

We don't know, is the only good answer. We haven't done much trying in the past 10 years. Intel's Lakefield was doing quite well in the tablet/MID space. It also had the disadvantages of both comparatively ancient Atom-e

Gawd I hope so. It's so hard for me to imagine how the US actually creates a workforce. Buying the (expensive) fab machines isn't enough. TSMC founder Morris Chang nicely outlined the major advantages that made Taiwan the powerhou

Open source as open society deeply deeply motivated & interested me. Open source isn't only for open society, but I think it's best & can only ever hope to advance itself aptly & with good calibration when society sees

Anyone have links to any of the good takedown articles on Cybersyn? There's plenty of pieces talking it up. And plenty demonizing American CIA actions around those time periods. But the effort itself was such a incredibly simple lo fi

Yeah not as bad as I thought. It is Model 3 sized. I'd heard people reviewing it say they were quite surprised just how big it was. And the width is almost 88 inches at the wheel pods which is indeed quite big. But overall really quite

The Aptera is a huge beast of a car designed specifically for solar, and I believe the current figure is that it can get 700W at a nice solar optimum. Big sweeping hood, roof, and trunk of solar. I doubt many cars can get 400W. I don't

Oslo is both sheltered & pretty far south for Norway. Norway only extends to 58 degrees N. It goes north to 71 degrees N. I don't actually known what a better comparison is & I don't know the answers, but I'm kind of

Still I think incredibly useful frames for interpetting the world. Society so visibly can see & understand Cathedral entities. And we still are so weak at grokking the rhiziomatic Bazaar assemblages that happen.

So agreed. Execution long term depends on putting yourself in good technical positions. It's enormously hard for companies to grapple with this. They not only need to be able to let technical knowledge workers go deep, they also ideall

I feel like a commercial OS is a better fit for attitude/desires. You should know to be able to type `journalctl` which will almost certainly give you a report on what just happened. Filing a big report feels like a pretty low barrier
