Looking at the test results: 4-6mm permanent deformation when dropping it from 18-20cm? That doesn't seem very good, especially for a city ride with frequent curbs, small steps, road gaps, and a heavy rider like myself (92kg).

I find it fascinating that most of the comments below are critical of the article. Sure, I also agree that delayed gratification pushed to the extreme (e.g. never spending ANY money and never enjoying oneself) is just as bad as playing the

Say what you will about Amazon, but what I did not appreciate about that Gizmodo article is they are misleading on purpose. They put a massive screenshot of the video showing a "TIPS" acronym that apparently stands for Threat, Inv

The video ends saying that trying to fit a 4D cube in a 4D hole is like a child playing with toy blocks. Hypothetically, if a child was raised with regular VR simulations that allowed the child to manipulate 4D objects, would their brain &q

I gave a look at their site. If you want to own an iPhoneX + MacBook Pro for 12 months, it costs you almost 200 EUR a month. And at the end of it you have nothing. If you spent 2,400 you could get a new iPhone X + a barely used MacBook Pro

I've worked with gov.uk. They are essentially a startup inside a huge organization, and their great work reflects that. One of the things they told me that struck me: most websites have customers, we have users. What they mean by thi

Data is as of 2016. Would be curious to see a follow up post on this, especially the comparison with Lyft.

I think the dashboard is quite un-informative. Doughnut charts may look nice but are hard to parse once you have more than 5 items.

Interestingly, I copied and pasted the blurb in the newly released Amazon Comprehend and it detected a negative sentiment with 0.94 confidence (0.0 positive, 0.06 neutral)

Wow, I had to stop half way through. It's the "optimizations" and "best practices" like the ones in the article that really exemplify how hollow content has become.

I really enjoy LastPass -- haven't used any others though. Your passwords are encrypted locally so even if their servers are compromised your data is safe.
