You can encrypt the synced data. Through it's probably only possible because Google doesn't need to snoop on the synced data when their browser is pinging everything you do back to them anyway through various Chrome telemetry feat

Every now and again ElevenClock gets confused and renders the extra clocks offset slightly on my main screen. Generally after screens have been sleeping, GPU driver updates/restarts, etc. Great tool though, works 99% of the time which

The app upgrades were solid, but I missed the classic Windows 2000 look which you couldn't quite get with 7 without modifying system files.

They are creating a LOT of issues for people if they don't provide a tool to migrate the account to a non G-suite account. I'll be moving email elsewhere, but losing that account and all the services it's connected to will re

I haven't looked at it but I would hope that "Sign in with Google" provides the service using it with a stable ID other than the email address. But I can also see services ignoring that and just using the email address anyway

Right!? The hard part is integrating nicely with the OS, which is just not something that's in Electrons bag. The thing Electron "improves" for them is portability for the one thing that users really want to avoid interacting

Took a peek, looks really nice, might have to give it a spin! Are there any solutions for .kdbx files on Windows that have a nice UI? My memories of KeePass are not great.

I don't even mind the subscription fee and cloud hosting personally, just make a kickass native app like they always had and I'll stay. If they force me to "upgrade" to 8 and it's not a native app then I'll jus

I agree it's a stupid problem to have when simple solutions exist (use cool features while developing, babel them into old boring code that runs on your smart fridge from 2002), but it's a problem nonetheless and a problem we woul

And this is the issue as I see it. Apple have made a device they know will be used a certain way, a general purpose computing device, but they are the only ones who can decide what software is allowed on it. I believe this should be illegal
